While we’ve been basking in sunshine this summer, our minds have been wandering ahead to winter when our Advent Calendars return to bring a little daily joy and comfort to the run-up to Christmas.
Last year’s 12 Days of Christmas box was a huge hit, with all 100 finding homes in record time. With cost-of-living pressures still very much on people’s minds, we deliberately created a smaller, more affordable box with just 12 gifts. We were genuinely heartened by the lovely feedback but one recurring request stood out: could we possibly bring back a 25-day version?.
To do so, we focused on finding a high-quality box that wouldn’t eat up too much of the overall budget, allowing us to put more into the contents. We returned to a firm favourite - the staple-stitched archive boxes we’ve used for nearly seven years. This time, rather than our usual brown board, we chose a muted, wintry grey version. Understated and elegant – but not especially festive.
Enter Steven Jenkins, the ceramicist and artist whose work many of you will already know. We asked if he’d consider hand-painting each box with his distinctive birds, hogweed heads, stars and clouds – and were thrilled when he said yes.
The first painted samples arrived (above) and completely surpassed our expectations. Each lid will also feature our embossed logo, printed in a matching blue. Steven will be painting the boxes in small batches through September, and once they’re dry and ready, we’ll begin carefully packing them with this year’s selection of gifts.

25 Days of Christmas Advent Box

25 beautifully wrapped gifts, one for each day from the 1st to the 25th of December.
Roughly half the contents come from our own range, with the rest carefully chosen from makers whose work we’ve spent months researching and selecting.
The Candle Advent Calendar

The one for the candle lovers.
Twelve full-sized candles from across our range, to be opened from 14th to 25th December. Expect a lovely mix of festive favourites and fresh blends to brighten your winter and carry you into spring.
When Can I Order?
Pre-orders open on Sunday 15th September.
As in previous years, you’ll be able to split your payment across three months (September, October and November), or pay in full upfront.
If you'd like to use the three-part payment plan, your order will need to be placed between 15th–25th September. That way, the final payment will be taken no later than 25th November, and we’ll have plenty of time to get your box to you ahead of Advent.
We’re also reserving a portion of each box for a second release in late October. These later boxes will only be available for purchase in a single transaction.
Will I Really Not Know What’s Inside?
That’s right – we’re keeping the contents a secret.
We know how rare it is to experience a true surprise these days, and from what you've told us, the daily mystery is one of your favourite parts. Every gift is of exceptional quality and provenance. All killer, no filler! You can expect an exciting range of presents which all have a broad appeal.
However, if you have specific preferences or concerns - maybe a scent you don’t like or something you wouldn’t use - just let us know. As a small business, we’re more than happy to be flexible and can usually swap items to make sure your box is right for you.
Delivery Details
Due to the fragile nature and limited availability of the boxes, we’re only able to ship within England, Wales and Scotland, using DPD.
We’re sad to say that we can’t offer delivery to Northern Ireland this year – it’s a real loss and one we hope to revisit in future.
Dietary Requirements
There’s no food or drink included in any of this year’s calendars.
One item in the 25-day box is made from wool – but we can absolutely swap it for a vegan alternative if needed. Just let us know.
