Stoneware Salt Pigs

A charming kitchen companion, handmade by Polly from Bliss Mill Studio in the Cotswolds. 

These generously sized salt pigs are wheel-thrown, trimmed and glazed by Polly. They have a lovely rotund shape which will look charming sat next to your stove.

Comes complete with a small wooden spoon. 

Wheel-thrown from stoneware clay that's rich in iron, the firing process brings out deep coloured flecks in the finished piece. Adding character and depth that's akin to an object far older than these are.
