Stoneware Green Fleck Candle Bowls

Polly from Bliss Mill Studio has created these beautiful candle bowls from her studio in the Cotswolds. 

We love the relaxed, friendly feel of the green flecks on the clay. An earthy, grounding colour that adds life to any spot in your home. The delicate form of this candle bowl makes it a striking centrepiece on its own, but you could always fill the edges with flowers, moss, trinkets or keepsakes. 

The narrow size fits a standard width dinner candle, while the wider size is perfect for extra-wide beeswax candles. The wider size will also fit a tealight or an egg, if you wanted to play around with its use. 

Wheel-thrown from stoneware clay that's rich in iron, the firing process brings out deep coloured flecks in the finished piece. Adding character and depth that's akin to an object far older than these are.
