Sit them on a mantle, illuminate the well inside with a tealight, or serve up snacks for an instant conversation starter. The Acorn & Oak sit on one side of the stem with the Bladder Wrack on the other.
For this autumn and winter Steven's turned his brush to a seasonal pair of designs, intended to reflect land and sea in the chilly months.
Each piece is fired once before being decorated with a chunky acorn and a pretty oak leaf, and is then fired again. Steven's work is slab-built from terracotta clay before he paints on his beautifully characterful designs in a soft, sepia-toned brown slip. The inside of the bowl is a blushing pink.
