12 Laundry Day Scented Soy Wax Tealights

Laundry Day is the most commonly requested scent from our archive so we are delighted to have it back for the spring. 

What is is about the smell of washing that is so evocative? Perhaps it's memories of freshly laundered pyjamas after bath time as a kid, or being tucked up in soft, sweet-smelling sheets. The smell of certain detergents can trigger memories of best friends' houses, a crush you sat next to in school, or a holiday cottage you spent happy times in as a child.

There appears to be a strong connection between the scent this everyday tasks carries, and feelings of safety, homeliness and belonging. Perhaps that's why Laundry Day just hits the spot for so many people.

12 classic sized tealights are packed inside a printed kraft box with paper interwoven between the layers to protect them. The sturdy box means these tealights would make a beautiful, thoughtful gift.

We would recommend using at least 2 tealights at a time to ensure the scent is noticeable in a room. All packaging is plastic free and can be placed in your household recycling.

Caution:

Never leave a burning candle unattended. Keep out of the reach of children and pets.
Always leave at least 10cm between candles. Do not burn on or near anything that can catch fire. Always extinguish the candle and do not relight when the wax level is less than 5mm.
