The buzz around 2023's Advent Calendars is already building, with our Instagram inbox filling up with excited questions every time we mention them! To help keep you folks informed we've answered the most FAQ's below:
Which calendars are available this year?
The 25 Days of Christmas
A 25 window calendar with full-sized gifts each day. 50% The Botanical Candle Co. products, 50% of contents from small brands we love.
The 12 Days of Christmas
A treat a day for 12 days (running from the 14th - 25th December). Again, these are all full-sized products. 6 products from our range with 6 carefully chosen goodies from small brands.
The Candle Advent Calendar
New for 2023! 12 candles in a range of scents from festive to floral and woody to fresh. This will also be available for stockists to purchase and sell in their own shops.
When can I order?
On the 1st September we will open the book for those wishing to split their order over three payments. These will close on the 27th September. This means you'll be able to pay the first instalment between the 1st - 27th September, with the second payment being charged on the same day in October, and the final instalment being taken on the same day in November. Meaning all payments will be taken by Monday 27th November at the latest, giving time for us to despatch your order in time for the start of Advent. If you've paid your three instalments on the 1st September, 1st October and 1st November for example, we will despatch your calendar as soon as the final payment processes.
If you'd prefer to pay in one go, you'll be able to do this from September 1st for delivery immediately.
What's in them?
This year you'll be able to see the full contents of the Advent Calendars via a special link. If you'd prefer to keep them a surprise then you don't have to click through to the link.
Are they likely to sell-out?
Quite honestly, we don't know what to expect! In 2022 they did sell-out but it was gradual and we didn't feel like people missed out. Interest in them this year seems higher since we shared this reveal in January. That said, we understand that every household has felt the financial squeeze this year, so we can't say with certainty what will happen.
We are making a similar quantity to last year, with a few more of The 25 Day Advent, as it was the most popular in 2022.
How much will they be?
The 25 Day Advent Calendar will be £210 with contents worth £270
The 12 Day Advent Calendar will be £108 with contents worth £138
The Candle Advent Calendar will be £105 with contents worth £134.50
How does delivery work?
Advent Calendars will be delivered with DPD on a fully tracked and signed-for service. This is on the house, as all Advents are over our £50 free delivery threshold. We sadly cannot deliver Advent Calendars outside of the UK.
Delivery will be made within a few days of your purchase if you pay in one go. If you choose to pay in three instalments, delivery will take place a few days after your final payment is successfully processed.
Can I use a discount code?
We've worked hard to build-in generous discount to the prices of the Advent Calendars, so sadly additional discounts cannot be applied.
I have dietary requirements - what should I know?
The 25 Day Advent Calendar contains one gift made with beeswax, as well as one item which contains nuts. This item may also contain traces of gluten and eggs. We are also including one gift made from sheep's wool. The 12 Day Advent Calendar is suitable for vegans and contains no food related allergens. The Candle Advent Calendar is suitable for vegans and contains no food related allergens.
